What I Do
I serve dual roles at Bridges Media in Chicago, as Director of Post Production as well as a Creative Lead. My recent work includes creating and directing the visual effects for the feature film Trust, as well as co-creating national and regional commercials, web and corporate videos, and 3D for print for a range of clients including Goose Island Beer Co., BlackBerry, MillerCoors, WGN-TV, Bally Total Fitness, and Kraft—to name a few. In my spare time I create content for the Chicago Bulls and Stanley Cup Champion Chicago Blackhawks, and I was privileged to work with the World Series Champion Chicago White Sox.
What I Know
In 2002 I earned an Associate of Applied Science in multimedia and web design from the Art Institute of Houston, and then went on to graduate with honors from the Illinois Institute of Art in Chicago with a BFA in Digital Media Production. I remain active in the education community, and am a regular speaker at Chicago’s top design schools where I discuss production, sound and video editing, communicating with clients, and creative management within a team.
What I Love
• My wife and family; they are amazing.
• Sports graphics. Check out the world’s only sports motion graphics site GraphicsMafia, created and maintained by yours truly.
• Craft beer. Bridges Brewery is my baby, and it combines marketing, event promotion and home brewing. See what others have to say about the project here.
• Good tunes and good times. The video below demonstrates my passion for directing, editing, music and humor. I’m the handsome fellow tickling the ivories.
